here is a simple idea to increase solvablility:

no corner-bound boxes

all targets can be pushed into (one direction with two non-walls)

enough boxes for the targets

here's a good one

I'm glad someone finally made a game like this.

I got lucky and generated a level with no targets :)

I feel like it could be re-randomized to ensure full connectivity (treating boxes as empty space) from the player to every target, and to have enough boxes for the targets.

if you did that the last level may be beatable without skiping.

and, if you want to add some quality of life, you can make all the targets "push-onto-able" this means having at least one direction with 2 empty spaces.

Can we get an .exe?

Thanks for this fun little game.

I like the narrative paired with the somewhat pointless puzzles. it's a cynical take on how no one truly 'wins' at life, like how user karamanga put it. after this game, you're left with the feeling, "Well, yea, I guess.." and ultimately, that's how life works. no matter how we win or lose, whether we cheat to get where we are or not, death comes and gets us anyway. that was how I interpreted this short game, and I think I loved it!

Interesting concept. I wonder if the narrative would be more impactful if the some levels were handmade and slowly became more derranged and unwinnable...just making them larger didn't make an impact on me since the first level was already unwinnable.

I think another fun tangent idea would be a game where dying is the goal, i.e. to win, you must actually lose.

there is another game where the goal is to arrange the boxes such that it is impossible to push any of the boxes (this is made difficult through the use of tiles that can be walked on but not pushed on). I think a randomized version of that would be very fun and interesting.

This game reminded me a lot of Gray, an old flash game on Kongregate. There's not much game here, but a lot to think about. Well done.

Game doesn't start

Make sure you click in the window? Beyond that I'm not sure what it would be. Do other puzzlescript games work for you?

I didn't feel like I won- there were many levels I just skipped, or levels I restarted to get an easier puzzle. Even though I saw it through to the end, I wasn't satisfied. Even when I did solve a puzzle correctly, it felt like "Well... I did it, I guess."

Great little game. I like how the theme relates to the gameplay. I feel like I've won just because I saw it through to the end.  P.s. Played on my phone
